Community Story Exchange
​Strengthening Communities Through the Written Word

The Community Story Exchange aims to strengthen communities through the creation and sharing of stories.

Diverse community groups (first responders, teachers, healthcare workers, students, seniors, the homeless, etc.) are provided with professional guidance and a safe and supportive environment to help them write their stories.

The stories of one group are then shared with another and are used to inspire the new group to create their own stories.

The stories are finally shared in print, video, and public events in which these groups come together to acknowledge and celebrate the commonalities they have discovered and written about.

The Community Story Exchange provides communities with a unique opportunity to strengthen communication between diverse groups through the medium of the written word.
